After playing with the config in DB for a long time and figuring out the main reason I had fps drops I can safely say it was the UI causing all the lag drops.

Basically what it comes down to is, the Dirty Bomb UI is causing FPS lag and drops. One way is to turn your Alpha of the Hud to 100% and your HUD fps lags are gone but so are your cross hair and every other bar on your screen.

Other way that I used was to put the UI X and Y on 0 and with some luck I managed to at least get the important stuff on the screen. Looking at it it's way cleaner.

It's configured for my own resolution which is 1920x1080 in game, if you got lower resolution you will have to adjust the X= Coordinates so it fits on your screen. Since I got 1920 Pixels width I got more room so if you got 1280 pixels width you need to adjust the X= numbers so instead of having the kill on X=1800 you will have it on something like 1150.

The numbers you want to adjust if you going to try it for any other resolution are: 500, 800, 1020, 1100 and 1800

The following lines will give you the result needed for a clean and lag free UI. Add them at the end of ShooterUI.ini and put the file on read only (right click file -> read only).

When you unpack the file and you want to use the fixed UI, remove -FIX from ShooterUI-FIX.ini and all should be okay.

Took me a while to get this sorted and I hope it helps for more people that have lag during Dirty Bomb cause of the UI.

fps seem to be nice (even though i switched the resolution), but i didnt like the hud at all! :P guess i will have to look at the HUD commands a bit closer :/

This was the only way to make it work, you can only get the elements positioned on the X axis. Until they fix the UI bug I'll keep using it like this, it's so smooth and I still got at least the most important stuff on my screen :)

edit: have to admit i swapped back to kroads, just works better for me (mostly because i think the effort i would have to put in to build my own like in ET would be too much :P)

Yea it's some effort, I ran past most of the commands in my config but I like a bit more detail so for more fps kroads is probably better :)
